Ms Outlook For Mac 2016 Outbox Error
Apr 19, 2012 - ok, so I updated outlook for Mac 2011 the other day. And another one, with the same problem and no solution.well done microsoft. So how do I find the outbox in the folder list on the left to delete that outbound email so. Here's the error message from outlook mac.
I am using the Outlook client in Mac as there is an problem with the MacOs mail client after installing HighSierra. I understand that Yahoo will resolve this issue at the end of the week. But using Outlook produces an error report pointing to Yahoo.
Here is the wording: The total attachment size exceeds the limit. Try removing one or more attachments before saving or sending.
Account name: Yahoo Message subject: is given but I don't recognise it and I have not attempted send the subject email. Error code: -17193. I can't find the message subject in any of my email folders either on my computer or when I am signed into my Yahoo mail. The outbox is not visible which I understand means there is nothing pending to be sent. How can I resolve this and the flood of error messages I am receiving about this?
I have done a Yahoo Quick Fix but that very quickly came back with 'no problems'. How can I resolve this?
I sent a mail two day ago using my OUTLOOK for Mac Office365 and sent using gmail account. It WAS to big, I know now. I did not send and I now get a MAIL TOO LARGE error every 30 mins or so.
Error log = [TOOBIG] Message too large. The message is not in the outbox, draft or sent box or anywhere else I can find. I have search and found many similar problems but nothing with a fix, and few in 2016. I have used SHIFT and double click outlook to start and see outbox, which does show one mail in it that I just tried to send to day. This is not the TOO LARGE one and has only been there since I tried to send it about an hour ago.
Now it is stuck in the outbox and shows in the outbox BUT not the TOO LARGE FILE. I know what it is but not where it is and nothing I have tired so far fixes or gets rid of it. I even had an update to OUTLOOK some time this morning and installed that thinking it might reset the outbox problem. Please this is driving me nuts!!!! Thanks NIgel.
Thank is a good general suggestion, but is an answer that is relevant to EVERY question!! Not much help as an answer. As it happens thas CASE is closed now. Windows os emulator for mac. It took a Microsoft Support staff member connected remotely to my Macbook 3 hours to sort the problem out. The fix in the end was to Set up a new profile. It was the last resort and it worked. I had to import (or just open) old data from back up.PSTs but all was ok after that.
It appear the stuck large file had corrupted the original profile?????? It was fixed a month or so ago and all working fine now. Thank is a good general suggestion, but is an answer that is relevant to EVERY question!! Not much help as an answer.
