How To Send On Behalf To Outlook For Mac

My email address is sumeet@sumeetjain.com. Mac usb creator for windows 7. I auto-forward all messages from my server to my Gmail account (dharamgadia@gmail.com). I then use Gmail's POP access to sync my mailbox with Apple Mail. I want to be able to send mail as dharamgadia@gmail.com on behalf of sumeet@sumeetjain.com. Gmail has this built into it's application, and other programs like Microsoft Outlook have it, too. So, I assume this is possible in Apple Mail, but I'm a new Mac user and don't know my way around. I couldn't find anything on the Web.

Send an Email with Any From: Address in Outlook To use any email address in the From: line of a message you are composing in Outlook: Start with a new message, reply or forward in Outlook.

How can I set this up? Thanks for your time. - I can't directly sync my server with Apple Mail (thus eliminating Gmail), because I need the space that Gmail gives me. Macbook Pro Mac OS X (10.4.7). I've come up with a solution to my problem - though I still didn't figure out to technically do the 'Send on Behalf' action.

To solve my problem, I added a new account for my sumeet@sumeetjain.com email address. The SMTP for it wasn't working for some reason, so I used the same settings as my Gmail account's SMTP server. It doesn't seem to matter. Then, in my Preferences, I unchecked the box that indicates whether my sumeet@sumeetjain.com account will automatically check if there are new messages. It's auto-forwarding, so there never will be. Finally, in the 'Composing' tab of Preferences, I set the email from which I send all messages to be sumeet@sumeetjain.com. Problem solved 🙂 Still, it'd be nice to know how to send mail on someone's behalf.
