For years, Microsoft Access was one of their most arcane and inaccessible applications, but it's now much easier to work with. Instead of complex commands, you can drag and drop data into ready-made templates. It's powerful enough for large organizations, as well as being easy enough to use for smaller businesses and nonprofit organizations. Microsoft Access is also helped by its total integration with the other Office applications, meaning importing from Word or Excel is painless and easy. Like all of the current Office suite programs, with Microsoft Access you can create files that can be simultaneously used by multiple people. There is also help for creating formulas in databases, meaning you don't need to be an expert to do it.

Microsoft Access 2010 maintains all the power of previous versions, while introducing the user friendly and attractive interface that makes Office such a great suite. By Anonymous 2010 doesn't work with expressions - Useless to me.

I have used and deployed Access databases from Access 2 to Access 2007. Take an M S template from MS website. Open a query which contains an expression.

Add a field to the query. A field from their sample table and an error message appears when I try to run the query. I look at the query again and all the commas have disappeared from the expression and it doesn't matter what I try I cannot fix the expression. 2010 doesn't work with expressions. It is useless. I am trying to find out how to downgrade to 2007. I have a similar problem with Excel 2010.

How to install synergy lab on mac for the binding of isacc. Pros: None until the bugs are worked out of it. It doesn't work. Cons: It doesn't work with expressions of any sort.

I have to tell my clients that I cannot support Access 2010 so if they upgrade it is at their own risk. Reviewed on July 30, 2012 •. By Anonymous This is the most unstable crappy program ever! There are so many bugs in this version of office it is ridiculous!

I just had to teach a class how to use it and found that when everyone was on the same screen performing the same query, with everyone's database set up the same way; some worked, and some would not! Fill checkbox in word. I am not a computer instructor, I am a business admin instructor.

I cant answer why these things were happening. So I looked stupid and got a poor review from my students which is appropriate. Access 2010 is the worst version of this system that microsoft has ever relesed. I beg you please return to the 2007 version! Reviewed on November 26, 2011 • • Articles about Microsoft Access.
